We’re just people is licensed in the state of Rhode Island as a 501(c) non profit organization.

Each week we prepare and distribute 300 plus bagged lunches consisting of a sandwich choice (4 options), bottled water, fruit and dessert. Yogurt is also provided 3 Saturday mornings per month.

We are on the road the following days of the week:

For over a decade we have been assisting the homeless, those living in shelters and food insecure individuals by providing a bagged meal, socks, hoodies, blankets, sleeping bags and other seasonal items.

Driving thru the south side of Providence, Cranston Street area, and stationary at Crossroads, Kennedy Plaza and Woonsocket allows for an opportunity to personally greet individuals, share in conversation, listen and try to provide some assistance.

Recently, we started preparing 48 complete bagged meals to Echo Village (pallet houses) once per week.

We offer encouragement and hope to a forgotten population that struggles with homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues that they face each and every day.
